Darlene Ruth Rizzo, age 75, of Miramar Beach, FL, passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her on January 12, 2018.  She was born September 5, 1942 in Chicago, IL to the late Henry Fisher and Ruth Bargen Fisher.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Henry Fisher and Mike Fisher.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 53 years, John A. Rizzo; their five children, Kathryn M. Rizzo, Joseph A. Rizzo, John D. Rizzo, Thomas M. Rizzo and Kimberly A. Damolaris; her 11 grandchildren, Devin, Taryn, Nicholus, Danielle, Jessica, Rachael, Elaina, Zachary, Paige, Amanda and Giuseppe; her sisters, Dora Cygan, Marie Cerveny, and Edith Miller; and her nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be Monday, January 15, 2018 at 11 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10 AM until the service hour.  Inurnment will follow at a later date at Barrancas National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
