After the family visitation yesterday 17-Jul, Nancy and I called to see what the weather was in Milton. We went canoeing down the Coldwater creek, stopped on a sandbar and talked about Dr. Gomez, Tony, Lisa, and their kids. Nancy reminded me that Dr. Gomez was one of my Dad's doctors before he died. I remember now that my Mom told me he was a good doctor. It was a beautiful day on Coldwater creek, quiet and peaceful, the sky was blue, birds were singing, and flying about. As we were sitting in the shade we decided to honor and dedicate that beautiful day on the creek to Dr. Gomez who gave so much to the world he left behind. I guarantee it would have been another work day if it were not for Dr. Gomez. Thank you for this day you gave us Dr. Gomez.

I can't even begin to tell you how much Dr. Gomez meant to me. He was one of the kindest person I had the pleasure of knowing. It's not often you have the same neighbors for 15 years. I have seen him daily ( sometimes several times a day ) for the past 15 years. I am going to miss him so much ! He always had a smile on his face. He would often come out his front door just a singing. He would thru out the years bring me food telling me " You just have to try this " He even sat with Mike during one of my surgeries. He was so much more than a neighbor, he was a friend ! Dr. Gomez and Mrs. Gomez was a Blessing to me and my family ! He will definitely be missed !Just not going to be the same without you Dr. Gomez !

Dr. Gomez had a certain way at putting a person at ease. When he was going over records, x rays, MRI's, Lab tests, etc. with the patients, he brought out the diagnosis and treatment in a way that the patient could understand. He didn't talk above us as if we were doctors at his level. He will be missed. Rest in Peace Dr. Gomez. God Bless You forever.
