Eileen D. Sasser was called home by the Lord on Thursday, September 28, 2017. She met and married Airman Simon S. Sasser in Cheshire, England in 1953 and later where stationed at Eglin, AFB, making this their home. Eileen was a devoted wife and mother of three. Her family being her pride and joy, she was known for her caring and generous heart. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years. She is survived by her two daughters Sharyn Elkin and Lindy Beard (Dean), son Charles Sasser (Patricia) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, and four grandchildren, Catrina, Beau, Charles Wayne, and Patrick and three great grandchildren, Skylar, Gracie and Breanna. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at McLaughlin Mortuary 17 Chestnut Avenue S.E. Fort Walton beach, FL 32548.
