Ethel O’Neal Harper, 90, of Miramar Beach, FL, died peacefully on May 12, 2017, at Sacred Heart on the Emerald Coast Hospital.
The Louisville, KY native was born on July 27, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Melvin Morris O’Neal of Bowling Green, KY and her husband of 11 years, Milton J. (Jack) Harper of Miramar Beach, FL.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen O’Neal Colcord, of Miramar Beach, FL, a son, Dr. Michael O’Neal and his wife Dr. Judy O’Neal, of Dawsonville, GA; four grandchildren, Deborah O’Neal, Denver, CO, Julie Geiger and her husband Steve of Houston, TX, David Leach of Ashland, KY, and Kevin O’Neal of Buford, GA; and seven great-grandchildren, Caroline Janney, Hope Geiger, Zachary Geiger, Dylan Leach, Ashley Leach, Emily O’Neal, and Reid O’Neal.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on June 6 at Santa Rosa Beach Community Church with a reception following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Santa Rosa Beach Community Church, PO Box 1723, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.
