Luis (Lou) was born in Seguin, Texas, to Martiniano & Maria Herrera.  He was a Retired Msgt. in the United States Air Force and a Vietnam Veteran.  He proudly served his country for 30 years.  His passion, aside from his family, was golf.  He played golf for over 60 years and had been a Golf Pro and Winner of many tournaments. He is survived by his wife, Delfina, of 55+ years, son Luis, daughter-in-law Wendi, grandson Hunter, his sisters Janie, Francis and Mary, as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  A time of Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 10th from 10:00am – 12:00pm at McLaughlin Mortuary located at 17 Chestnut Ave. SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association,  the American Heart Association or the Vietnam Veterans of America.  Expressions of love and sympathy can be viewed or submitted online at www.mclaughlinmortuary.com
