Welcome to the memorial page for

Phillip Andrew Wood

February 24, 1971 ~ August 2, 2017 (age 46) 46 Years Old

It is with tremendous sadness -- beyond our comprehension -- that we share with you that Phillip Andrew Wood passed away Wednesday, August 2nd. He was an immeasurably cherished and devoted husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, colleague, friend, teacher, and human. He was truly the love of my life and my best friend (Hope).
Our hearts are understandably shattered in a million pieces. We are now facing a life we never imagined. We will never be the same — somehow, someway we must attempt to face this unbelievable loss. We must now start picking up the pieces for the sake of the children who lost their Dada.  Abigail and Isaiah are already trying to process this devastation. They were incredibly close to their Daddy and have countless wonderful memories with him, but had counted on and hoped for a lifetime more of memories with him. Now they are facing a completely rearranged kind of life without their precious father.
Our family is in a place of extensive monetary need on multiple levels.  We are uncomfortable and not accustomed to asking for this kind of assistance and support. However, for the sake of the children and this family we find ourselves in a position of having no choice but to ask. Therefore, we humbly and respectfully request anyone who can give, above and beyond their own responsibilities, to help our family rebuild from this all-encompassing heart wrenching tragedy.

We respectfully request comments of condolence, support, and concern be posted here for continuity, and appreciate everyone’s respect for privacy of the family.  Please understand that our family cannot express enough how much we appreciate your generosity, love, and support. We will eventually read all the kind comments left here, however, we may not be able to personally respond now, we are grateful for your understanding.
Thank you in advance for caring and having compassion for us at this terrible time.
With Deepest Gratitude and Love,
The Wood Family
