Sylvia Ann Smith Passed Away Tuesday morning Sept 19, 2017 after a long battle with COPD.
Sylvia was born in Pascagoula, MS on October 8, 1943. She lived in Ft Walton Beach for many years.
Before retirement Sylvia worked at House of Carpets where she was an interior designer. She enjoyed working with many of the area builders. Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lucille Smith; a brother, James Smith and sister, Patricia DuBose. She is survived by her sister, Janet Miller of Las Vegas NV; nephews, Brian and Christopher Miller and Douglas DuBose; she also leaves behind many who loved her and treasured her friendship. Sylvia was a member of Saint Mary Catholic Church and was so thankful to the wonderful ladies who visited her on Wednesday bringing her Holy Communion. Many Good Friendships developed due to this ministry.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00AM on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Saint Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Pascagoula at a later date.
