Alois B Shomberg

Alois Boniface Shomberg, age 87, of Shalimar, Florida, passed away on December 2, 2019.  He was born on April 7, 1932 to parents, Joseph and Anna Shomberg. 

Alois is predeceased by his parents and wife, Geraldine.  He is survived by daughters, MaryLou Geohagan (Gary), Lauri Godair (Rick) and Patty Shomberg; son, Donnie Shomberg; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-granchildren.

He honorably served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years.  After retirement from the Air Force he was an automotive technician for several of the local dealerships.

Alois enjoyed flying and building model airplanes at the Eglin Aero Modelers Club, woodworking and fishing in his spare time.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He will be interred at Barrancas National Cemetery and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Expressions of love and sympathy may be placed online at www.mclaughlinmortuary.com.
