Barbara Ann Smith

BARBARA ANN SMITH

July 18, 1945 - March 1, 2024

Barbara Ann (Wilkett) Smith passed from this earthly life on March 1 to live with Jesus forever.  She goes to make a place for her family just as she did here.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Billy Gene Smith, her daughter, Melissa Smith Edge Paulson, her son Shawn Smith, her grandson Joshua Edge (Caitlyn Edge), her granddaughter Alaina Paulson, and three great grandchildren, Conner, Julia and Luke.  She was predeceased by her grandson, Zane Paulson.

In Barbara's dash of life, she lived each day in high spirits of adventure and care with her family and friends.  She lived most of her life in Arkansas and Tennesse on horseback, riding motorcycles and driving fast fancy vehicles.  Many summers were spent with her family sunning on boats at their lake house in Greers Ferry.  Barbara and Bill moved to Florida in 2016 to enjoy retirement.  Barbara believed in working hard and jumping on airplanes and cruise ships to travel the world so she did both.  She loved Jesus and her family.  She treated her friends like family and always welcomed a visit.  She implanted her tough Native American heritage in her children and grandchildren so they can all be strong while they wait to see her again.   

We will all gather at Bill and Barb's home on March 23rd to share memories.
