Bertha Carnes

Bertha Elizabeth Carnes, 84, of Mary Esther, FL passed away on September 27, 2021.

Born in Fitzgerald, GA to Labron & Harriet Kimbrell on April 12, 1937.

She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & friend.

She is predeceased by her husband, Johnie C. Carnes, parents & siblings.

She is survived by her children, Deborah (Morris) Brooks, Ron (Tracy) Carnes, and James (Rose) Carnes;  sister Pat Maxey; brothers Gary Nicholson, Bill Collins, Ricky Kimbrell and David Kimbrell; grandchildren Charles Brooks (Jennifer); Alisha Evanchyk; Kim Brooks; Jon Carnes; Brandy Carnes; James Carnes (Heather); James Smith (Melanie); Timothy Smith (Elizabeth); Ariel-Eliz Carnes;  great-grandchildren Taylor Brooks; Dominick Brooks; Devin Brooks; Sara; Gracie; Jaycee Evanchyk; Jaydon Carnes; Jaelynn Carnes; Hayley Smith; Maddie; Ellie Smith.

A funeral service will be held on October 2, 2021, at 12:00 PM at McLaughlin Mortuary.  The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.  Interment will take place at Beal Memorial Cemetery following the service.
