Rose Lichauer, age 90, of Ft. Walton Beach, FL passed into the arms of the lord at home on Sunday, April 8. She was born in rural Holmes County near Bonifay, FL to parents William Ples Bush and Ada Elizabeth Bush. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Lichauer; sisters, Bessie Loy, Beaula Spivey and Eula Everett. She is survived by her brother, Jack Bush of Orlando, FL and children, Warren Williams, Jay Williams, Sandy Lichauer and Linda Fitzpatrick; also her 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She had a 30 year career with the Hurlburt NCO Club and truly enjoyed her position as head bartender. She also enjoyed quilting, ceramics, orchids and tropical plants as well as Bingo and hugging her grandchildren. Her best personal characteristic was always helping others with a hand-up. McLaughlin Mortuary will host a viewing service on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 12:00 – 1:00PM with funeral service to follow; interment 2:00PM at Beal Memorial Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted at McLaughlin Mortuary, 17 Chestnut Avenue, Fort Walton Beach, FL; Friday morning till 11:00AM. She will be truly missed by all the hands she has touched.
