Bette R (Dunlavy) Olsen, age 81, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away on March 02, 2019. She was born in St Louis Missouri on October 17, 1937 to Paul and Dorothy Dunlavy.
Bette was an accomplished Bowler & Golfer. Her love for animals led her to volunteer many hours at the Eglin Air Force Base, Florida Animal Shelter. Holidays, Birthdays, Graduations, Weddings and High School Reunions found her traveling across the United States, as her love for family and friends was immense. One of her greatest joys and achievements was that of being a Nanny to the Beech family of California. Bette is predeceased by her parents, Paul W Dunlavy and Dorothy M (Dicks) Dunlavy; brother, Paul D "Dick" Dunlavy, Colorado; sister, Donna (Vorhees) Kelts, Michigan and her husband, Louis A Olsen, Retired Air Force, California. She is survived by her sisters, Joan (Dunlavy) Mills, Texas, Judy (Dunlavy) Looney, Colorado and Virginia "Ginni" (Dunlavy) Mottern (Hugh), Colorado and brother, William "Will" D Dunlavy (DeAnn), Utah and a host of nieces and nephews. I would like to express my thanks to the caring staff of Windermere Memory Care and Emerald Coast Hospice of Pensacola, Florida.
