Cecelia Mary Rezzarday

Cecelia Mary Rezzarday, 95, tranquilly passed into the arms of our Lord June 21, 2020.

She was born in 1924 to Emma and Lester Kinkel.  She is joined by her brother, Lester, in heaven.  Cecelia is survived by her husband Joe, married for 70 years and by Lester Kinkel's widow Patricia Lamm, 14 children, 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as Sister-in-laws Irene Slahor and Lilian Gwosden.  She now looks over all of us.  Cecelia received a Nursing degree from Mercy College and had exceptional organizational skills and nursing skills which she used both with her large family.  As a Navy wife, she regularly visited and comforted families that had down or missing pilots.  Cecelia enjoyed her retirement life in Fort Walton Beach Florida.   Although she was retired she kept busy, watching over grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as attending countless birthday parties, baptisms, Change of Command ceremonies, military promotions, and graduations. She was a member of The Legion of Mary.  She loved Hawaii and enjoyed the tropical weather and island attractions as well as laying flowers on her son William's grave who passed in 1956.  It was her second home and favorite place to visit.  The Rosary will be at 1:30PM and mass at 2:00PM Monday 29th of June at St Mary Catholic Church. The interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery on Pensacola Naval Base at 1:00 PM on Tuesday June 30, 2020.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St Mary Catholic Church Parish Life Center.
