Charles Bradford

Charles Bradford, age 71 passed away on November 11, 2020 in Grant, FL.  Charles was the husband of Joan (Jackie) Bradford.  They shared 4 years of marriage together.

Born in Altus, Oklahoma, Charles was the son of Woodrow and Edith Bradford.  He served 4 years active duty in the Navy (stationed in Pensacola, Morocco, and Maryland) as well as 16 years in the Army Reserve (stationed in Thomasville, GA).  Charles retired from the military after 20 years of service in 1995.  After his active service in the Navy, Charles attended the University of West Florida where he earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science.  He worked as a computer analyst for State of Florida in Tallahassee, FL for 33 years from which he retired in 2011.

He is survived by his widow Jackie Bradford, his son Eric Bradford, his daughter in law Pamela Bradford, his stepdaughter Shana Miller, and his grandchildren Lily (8), Jackson (5), Graham (4), and Stella (8).  He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years Eloise Bradford, his sister Glenda Bradford, and his son James Bradford.     

A graveside service will be held on Saturday November 21 at 11:00am (Central Time Zone) at Historic Gulf Cemetery in Santa Rosa Beach, FL (Address - 1466 South Highway 393 Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459).  Charles will receive full military honors for his service to our country.
