Clifford D. Crandall of Mary Esther, Florida, passed away on February 27, 2019 in his home at the age of 75. Mr. Crandall was born on April 7, 1943 in Callicoon, New York to the late Clifford and Mary Martha (Myers) Crandall. He was raised in Eldred, Monticello and Rome, New York. He attended Rome public schools until his enlistment into the US Air Force. Clifford’s service in the Air Force brought him to beautiful Mary Esther where he resided since his discharge in 1964. He was employed as a tractor trailer driver through much of the working career, most recently for McKenzie Tank Lines until his retirement for health reasons. In his younger years Cliff enjoyed doing automotive repairs and used his many construction skills in building his own home in Mary Esther. Cliff is survived by his sisters Elizabeth A. Cheever (Bill) of Watertown, New York, Helen M. Pisarski of Watertown, New York, Carol C. Peterson (Bill) of Houston, Texas; his brother George T. Crandall (Barbara) of Trumbull, Connecticut; niece Melissa A. Burns and nephews Jason and Scott Pisarski, Robert and Timothy Crandall and Stuart Peterson. Cliff is also survived by his long-time companion Mary Garcia of Mary Esther, Florida. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Mildred who passed away in 1996; his brother-in-law Craig Pisarski who passed away in 1991; his special aunt Christene “Teenie” Myers of Eldred, New York who passed away in 2017. At this time services will be private.
