Dianne G Schoonover

Dianne Gail Schoonover, 81 years of age, lived in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and sadly passed away on 27 February 2023. Dianne was born on May 5, 1941, and was one of the daughters of Lloyd and Audra Keith who resided in Louisville Kentucky.

Dianne married Gene F. Schoonover in 1963, and together blended a family in which she had five children: Joe, David, Gene Jr., Sallie Anne, and William; as well as, stepchildren Donna, Linda, and Mike.

Dianne was preceded in death not only by her husband Gene F. Schoonover Sr. and beloved son David Karl Schoonover but by her parents Lloyd and Audra Keith as well as her sisters: Karen Hord and Linda Keith.  Also waiting over the Rainbow Bridge are Dianne’s precious puppies: Lula, Teddy, Dandy, and PeeWee.

Dianne leaves behind a large family that will forever remember and feel her love.  Of the Keith clan, Dianne leaves behind her sister Tammy and husband Dan Bellish. Of the Schoonover clan, Dianne leaves behind her eldest son, Joseph, who became Dianne’s rock and guide after the passing of her husband Gene.

Son Gene Jr., wife Demy, and grandchildren; Derrick, Christine, Dean, and Alexandria in addition to ten great-grandchildren.

Daughter, Sallie, and grandson Zachery Lee as well as two great-grandchildren

Her youngest son, “Baby Boy” William (Billy), wife Traci, and grandson David Karl.

Donna Jean and grandchildren; Amber, Shawn, and Heather, as well as three great-grandchildren

Linda Sue and grandson; “Eddie” (wife Linda) and a great-grandson

Michael Francis, his wife Carol, and grandchildren Mikey and Mickey, as well as four great-grandchildren.

Dianne was a woman who had roots in Ohio and Florida; over her lifetime and through her family she not only became friends with countless people but became a “Mom”, Ms. Dianne, GG and mom/Grandma Schoonie to more than can be believed.

SHE WAS LOVED AND BLESSED.

Funeral Service and visitation will be on March 6th, at McLaughlin Mortuary; Located at 17 Chestnut Ave. SE, Fort Walton Beach Florida. Phone 850-244-5163.  Family viewing will be 9 a.m. with friends being welcomed at 10 a.m. A short memorial will occur at 11 O’clock followed by Interment which will take place at Beal Memorial Cemetery, 316 Beal Parkway, Fort Walton Beach Florida.
