Doris Marie Griffith

DORIS M. GRIFFITH passed to eternal life on February 1, 2019 from natural causes.  She was born on September 1, 1928 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Odina & William Lamauraux.

She settled in Crestview, FL at an early age and married Travis R. Griffith in 1948.  They served in the US Army for 20 years and traveled the world raising 3 sons.  They retired to Ft Walton Beach in 1962 where she became a prominent tailor for 40 years.

She is survived by three sons; Larry (Carmen), Travis Jr. (Lynn) and Jed (Rae).  Seven grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 110 St Mary Avenue SW FWB followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 P.M.  Burial will take place at Beal Memorial Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1655 McGill Avenue, Mobile AL 36604.
