Elizabeth "Bette" Randels

Elizabeth Reid Randels, born to Thomas and Winified Reid on June 23, 1924 in Glasgow, Scotland passed away on November 14, 2019.  She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Col. (Ret) James Bennett Randels, and children, Gaye (Padraig) Cawdery, Candis Hill, Jimmy (Judith) Randels, Jan (Dan) Moorehouse, Ann Martin,  Joseph Mark (Maryjane) Randels, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Elizabeth is preceded in death by her son Steven Andrew.   Elizabeth also known as Bette, served as a VAD during WWII.  She continued with her service with the Red Cross for many years afterwards.  Bette was a member of the Shalimar Methodist Church.  She enjoyed Majong, golf, and entertaining her family and friends.  Bette was employed in the fashion industry and active in the community in sales and modeling.  Bette and her husband enjoyed their many adventures traveling.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Shalimar Methodist Church.  Visitation will be prior at 10:30 a.m.   A reception will follow.   In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Shalimar Methodist Church.
