Eloise H. King, 92, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida passed away Friday, July 21, 2017. She was born in Pineland, Texas and lived in Fort Walton Beach since 1957. She taught Fourth grade for 36 years, starting at the original Fort Walton Elementary School…beginning as the youngest teacher in the county, retiring as the oldest. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack D. King, and sons Jack S. King, and Jim D. King. Survivors include her son Bob (Winko) King of Sacramento, California and daughter Kay E. Culbertson of Vero Beach, Florida, grandchildren Travis (Tab) Barnes, Alex Jack Wood, Kendall Kay Culbertson and Gabriel Alexander Culbertson.
Memorial Services will be conducted at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) 201 St. Mary Ave, FWB at 1:00PM, Thursday, August 3rd where she with her family were charter members. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, P.O. Box 2319, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32549.
