Elyse Van Dyke

Elyse A Van Dyke, 99, passed away peacefully at home on September 4, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones in FWB. She was born August 26, 1922, in Jacksonville FL. She is preceded in death by the love of her life George R Van Dyke, parents Henry and Mary Jungemann, and daughter Anne Van Dyke Tillman. She is survived by her sister Louise Miller Wilkie and sons George (wife BJ) and William Van Dyke, along with 4 grandchildren, George Van Dyke III (wife Melissa, daughters Madison, Gracie, Lucy, and Ella), Robert Van Dyke (wife Denise son Carter and daughter Carlye) Sherry Horner and Christopher Tillman. She will always be remembered as the best Mom, Grandma, and GG a family could ask for.

The family will receive friends at McLaughlin Mortuary, Fort Walton Beach, FL, on Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the Mortuary.
