George E. Keller, Jr.

George E Keller Jr., "Ed", age 71, of Shalimar, Florida, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 4, 2023, at his home, surrounded by loved ones. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering and went on to work in civil service on Eglin Air Force Base until retirement. He enjoyed being a father and grandfather, serving others, his Christian community, camping, being outdoors, traveling, problems to solve, starting new projects, Scouting, cooking, going to the shooting range, and spending time with family. He was passionate about his relationship with God, grateful for His grace, and humbled by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. 

He is preceded in death by his father, George E Keller of Birmingham, Alabama.

He is survived by his mother, Martha J Keller; daughter Jenny and her husband Travis Adams; son Luke and wife Ashley Keller; and 5 beloved grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Shalimar United Methodist Church, Shalimar, Florida.
