George Schnitter

George Maria Schnitter, age 68, of Fort Walton Beach, passed away on August 31, 2021. He was born to Borys and Emilia Schnitter on February 24, 1953, in Poznan, Poland.

George was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting stamps. He spent the last 30 years in Fort Walton Beach and enjoyed watching football and soccer.

He is predeceased by his parents, Borys and Emilia Schnitter, and sisters Hanna and Maria.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Popowska-Schnitter; children, Magdalena Pietrzyk and her husband Tomasz Pietrzyk and their kids (his grandchildren) Andrzej Pietrzyk and Antonina Pietrzyk; Nicolle McGaughey and her husband Ryan McGaughey, and Nicolle's mother, Irmina Trebert; and his twin brother Jan Schnitter.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced.
