Gregory Allen Magee

Gregory Allen Magee, age 65 of Fort Walton Beach, Florida passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ the evening of June 18, 2020.  He spent his final days in the care of Emerald Coast Hospice at the home of his sister, Benita.  He was born July 17, 1954.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Kathryn Magee of Long Beach, Mississippi and a sister, Gretchen Magee Hogue of Walnut Grove, Mississippi. He is survived by his sister, Benita Magee Tucker (Jimmy Don) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, a brother, Jon Dirk Magee of Navarre, Florida, brother-in-law, Paul Hogue (Kathy) of Walnut Grove, Mississippi and numerous nephews and nieces. Greg loved his dog Nyx and was a huge Saints fan.  He grew up swimming and sailing on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  Anyone that knew Greg knew he loved Barq’s Root Beer and Po’boys, Krispy Kreme Donuts, hanging at the casinos, and cruising the coast.  He was a third generation professional dry cleaner and continued working at his parents business, Long Beach Cleaners for over 40 years. At the request of the deceased, he will be cremated with ashes scattered in the Gulf of Mexico at a later date.
