James W. Warren, 83, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away in a local health care facility on Sunday, April 17, 2022. He was born on Oct. 4, 1938, in Goshen, Alabama to William and Candice Warren. He was Baptist by faith and in his youth attended Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church. He had resided in the area up until he was in his 20’s, then to return later in life. At an early age he drove School bus for Okaloosa County, touching the lives of many children. He later moved to New Jersey where he resided for about 51 years. He again worked for the Transit Bus City Authority as a driver. He loved going to the Casino’s, playing his crossword puzzles, and especially loved watching sports (football). He loved his family and always enjoyed being with them. He will be loved and missed by all who knew and loved him. He also had a special longtime friend Marion Kent.
He is survived by his children; Marion, Larry (Flora), Jackie (Donell), Maurice (Sheila) and Matthew. With 12 Grand Kids and a host of nieces and nephews.
