John H. Stoddard, 75 of Miramar Beach, FL, departed this life and entered his heavenly home on
Tuesday, September 19, 2017. He had been a cancer patient receiving good reports but passed unexpectedly at Destin Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Destin, FL.

John was born on July 20, 1942 in Pana, IL., the son of Joe and Lois Stoddard. He graduated from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Accountancy in 1964, working most of his life in healthcare finance.
He married Judith Ann Pygett on September 3, 1967 at Anna Heights Baptist Church in Anna, IL.
Judy proceeded him in death on Friday, July 14, 2017. Judy and John had lived in Miramar Beach since 2004; prior to that time they lived in Atlanta, GA. John was a member of the Destin United Methodist Church. He enjoyed sports, his pets and traveling. John cared for his wife, Judy at home for the past several years as she endured Lewi Body Dementia.

He is survived by his brother, Jim Stoddard and wife Deborah of Assumption, IL; brother-in-law, Mike Pryor and wife Linda of Ramsey, IL; 3 nieces; 2 nephews; 13 greats and one great-great. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and sister, Janet Pryor.

Arrangements have been made for a Memorial Service on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 10 o'clock;
