Julius Hendley Moody from Fort Walton Beach, Florida died peacefully at the age of 84 in Panama City Florida at the Chester Sims VA Nursing Home. Julius served in the United States Air Force for over 21 years and attained the rank of Master Sergeant, he then worked as a civil servant at Eglin Air Force Base while achieving a master’s Degree in Business Administration. He was preceded in death by his wonderful son Jesse H. Moody and survived by his loving wife Loretta A. Moody, his two daughters, Anna Moody O’Banion and Debbie Moody Estes, and companion, Steve Rice, his granddaughters, Loren O’Banion Saale and Michelle Moody and his great granddaughter, Riley Jesse Miller and his only daughter in law Cindy Moody. He is also survived by his siblings, Leon, Mary Alice, James Kenneth, Charles, Tony, Russell, Joyce, Norma, Trudy and Pete and numerous nieces and nephews. He is loved dearly and will be deeply missed. Family and Friends are invited to celebrate his life at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, located at 110 Saint Mary Ave. SW in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Visitation will start at 12:00 pm and the mass will follow at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. We will then proceed to Beal Memorial Cemetery to lay Julius to rest with Full Military Honors.
