A much loved father, grandfather, great grandfather, son and brother, Kenneth (Ken) James Fayette, passed away at his home on March 9th, 2019 surrounded by his family. He fought a long hard battle with Parkinson’s and Dementia. He was born January 14, 1953 in Glendale, California. After travelling overseas to Spain and Germany with the U.S. Air Force, he settled and resided in Fort Walton Beach, Florida for the past 35 years.
He was in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and retired as a Technical Sergeant. He was a Master Scuba Diver and loved to participate in 5K runs. He was an incredible loving family man, friend, and faithful servant to the Lord, Jesus Christ. He was heavily involved with the Acts Ministry and right hand man to all Pastors at Harbor of Holley Assembly of God in Holley, Florida.
Ken is predeceased by his parents, James Dean Fayette and Joan Elizabeth Vorel and niece, Stacey Traughber. He is survived by his daughter, Holly Fayette; granddaughter, Alissa Fayette; great-granddaughter, Anastasia; brother, Gary Fayette and wife Robin; sister, Susan Fayette; nephews, Dean (Scooter) Fayette and wife Rebekah, Robert Fayette, and Sean Krane; niece, Sarah Traughber, great niece, Kateri and great nephews, Scott and Sawyer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Harbor of Holley Assembly of God, 4006 Highway 87, Navarre, Florida.
Flowers will be received by the family at the church or donations may be made to Harbor of Holley Assembly of God in Ken’s name.
At Ken’s request, the family will hold a private ceremony where he will be scattered on a deep sea dive by fellow qualified scuba divers.
