My mother was a lovely woman. She embodied all of the attributes of a perfect mom. She was caring, thoughtful, hardworking, compassionate, and loving and so much more. My mother was my idol and I looked up to her all of my life. You knew the true meaning of unconditional love.
You were a wonderful grandmother & great grandmother. Always so proud of what your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren accomplished in life. You have touched our lives forever. You were always there for me and my children and grandchildren.
I am grateful that I was with you until the end. We had no unspoken words between us. You knew I love you. You left with pride & dignity; as you start another journey and are reunited with dad.

Thank you for being my mom. I love you so much and wish that we had more time together. I will cherish all of the great memories we had and will carry your values with me. You will be missed by all and your memory will live in us all forever.

We will miss our aunt Laura. She was the only auntie with a sweet southern accent . She was kind and sweet and gentle. And had a special love for her family in its history which she shared with all of us. I love how much she loved her husband. Curtis. She loved him deeply and dearly. It warms my heart to think of the great reunion that they must be enjoying now.
