Lettie was born in a small rural County in Kentucky. At the age of 18 she met another Kentuckian and they married in December 1946. Her husband Darrell D. Chinn enlisted in the Army and their adventures began. Other than one tour in Germany and two tours in Vietnam they spent the next 73 years together. Lettie loved the traveling and living in foreign countries as well as several States across the United States.  Lettie is survived by her loving husband, Colonel Darrell D Chinn, US Army, Retired; three sisters, Dorothy Kahny, Ola Bowling, and Janet House (Les); daughters, Darlene Smith (Russell), Gina Graham (Bill); son Darrell Wayne (Tina); 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
