Marie Elizabeth Steele, age 98, passed away April 2, 2020 in Shalimar, Florida. She was born January 14, 1922 in Clinton, New Jersey. Marie moved to the Fort Walton Beach area in 1972. She was preceded in death by her husband William H. Steele and sister Edna Cregar. She is survived by her sons William (Jan) and Charles (Carolyn); grandchildren Dottie, Travis (Corina) and John Steele, and Jessica Steele Bauer (Phil); and, great grandchildren Alex, Haleigh, Gabriella and Giovanna. Graveside services in Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date
