Martin Joseph Bazylak, Jr. “Marty or Marty Joe”, of Miramar Beach, Florida, went to be with the Lord on 11/03/2020 at the age of 61.
Martin is predeceased by his Father, Martin Bazylak, Sr., Paternal Grandparents – Stanley and Jeannie Bazylak; Maternal Grandparents – Dorothy and Charles Vaughan and several Aunts and Uncles
Martin is survived by his adoring wife Penney Bazylak of 30 years. He is also lovingly remembered by his mother Carol Bazylak of Destin, Fl; Children Leah J Bazylak of Miramar Beach, FL; Ruby M Knauer (Jerrimy) of Pensacola, FL. Grandchildren: Alexandria Grimsley (Jordan Clifton), Paidon Partin, Memphis Roach; William Knauer, Walker Knauer. Brothers and Sister: David Bazylak (Michelle), Mark Bazylak (Sheri), John Bazylak, Jean Barfield (David), Stan Bazylak (Tammy) along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Martin attended Fort Walton Beach High School. He served in the United States Army briefly and spent the majority of his working career in restaurant management. He was a longtime team member of Darden Restaurants (Longhorn Steakhouse).
Martin enjoyed salt water fishing, golfing, music, Pittsburgh Steeler football, and spending time with his friends and family.
To know Martin was to love him. Martin’s Celebration of Life will be held at McLaughlin Mortuary, 17 Chestnut Avenue SE; Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548, with Reverend Dana P. Brady officiating at 2:00 pm on November 13th, 2020. The family will receive friends one hour prior. For those wishing to attend casual dress is requested “Pittsburgh Steeler” attire or jean and t-shirts are preferred.
