Mary W. Chin passed away at home on June 7, 2022 at the age of 95. She was the wife of retired Air Force SMSgt Kay W. Chin who predeceased her in 2010.
Mary was a devoted mother and wife whose first priority was always taking care of her family. She was the glue that kept her family close to each other. She self-taught herself to read and write in English. She would say the first American dish she learned to cook was spaghetti. She traveled extensively with her husband to many countries and all over the United States. They lived in South Carolina, California, Massachusetts, Japan and the Azores Islands before returning to and settling down in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. She did not believe in being idle and her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, knitting, ceramics and all kinds of arts and crafts.
Mary is survived by her daughters Jane Richards of Fort Walton Beach, and Carol Chin Forman of Billerica, Massachusetts, and her son Kenneth Chin and his wife Sau of Folsom, California.
A private Interment for the family will be held at the Barrancas National Cemetery on June 16, 2022.
