Glenda died peacefully in Lexington Kentucky at the age of 79. Loving wife, devoted mother, and grandmother.

Almighty and eternal God, from whose love in Christ we cannot be parted, either by death or life:  hear our prayers and thanksgivings for our loved one whom we remember this day; fulfill in them the purpose of your love; and bring us all one day with her to your eternal joy reuniting us in heaven; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen

Glenda was born in Gorman Texas, to William Glen Clayton and Mary Allis Kyle, she graduated high school in Lubbock Texas, then moved with her family to Fort Worth Texas where she met her love of her life Walter Kitchin. They had two boys Rodger Kitchin and Karl Kitchin. They were a military family and were stationed overseas for several years then moved back to the states at Cannon AFB then their final location was Hurlburt Field and Mary Esther Florida where Walt retired from both the USAF and Destin Water Users.

 Glenda loved her job working at Hurlburt Field Child Care Center where she worked for 23 years. After her retirement, she was able to enjoy her family.

Glenda later moved to Kentucky with her oldest son where she was cared for till her death.

Glenda is survived by her son Rodger Kitchin, her daughter-in-law Dossie Kitchin, her 2 granddaughters Amanda Kitchin, Caitlin Kitchin, and her great-granddaughter Jordyn.

Glenda is proceeded in death by her father and mother, husband, and her youngest son.
