Mary Adele McCoig Miller

Mary Adele McCoig Miller went home to be with her lord and savior Thursday, March 23, 2023. Adele was a very charismatic woman who never met a stranger. She loved meeting people and learning everything about them. She enjoyed playing bingo and card games as it brought family and friends together. Adele’s biggest love was for her three children, she welcomed any opportunity to boast about them. Adele made it a special tradition to call them first before anyone else could for any special occasion, especially birthdays. She loved them and her four grandchildren with “all of her heart and soul.” as she always said. Adele is the loving and devoted mother of Nichole “Colie”, Marquette “Eva M.”, and Matthew “Q” whom she shared with Chris Miller, her lifelong best friend. Adele will be incredibly missed by her children, mother and sisters, her grandchildren and all the wonderful people she has befriended along the way.   

Adele was preceded in death by her father Charles W. McCoig and Best Friend James Christopher Miller. She is survived by her mother Mary McCoig Flack. Children Mary Nichole (Lydell) Moreland, Eva Marquette (Luis) Garcia and Matthew Quirt Evans Miller, Four grandchildren Luis Argelis Garcia II, Janea Amiyah Moreland, Julianna Marquette Garcia, and Antonio Christopher Garcia; Her sisters Kim Annette Toune and Sue Day; Her Nephews; Kyle (Caitlyn) Andrew Toune, Konner (Samantha) Aaron Toune, Kamron Anthony Toune; Her Great Nephew Klyde Aaron Toune and Great Niece Sailor Elsie Toune.

The family will announce a Celebration of Life at a later date that can honor the beautiful life of our beloved mother.
