Michael Anthony "Tony" Mauldin

Michael “Tony” Anthony Mauldin, age 46, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023.  Tony was born at Clark AFB, Philippines to Henry Hoyt Mauldin, Jr. and Jane Ann Richie on September 11, 1976.  After graduating from Lakenheath High School in England, Tony enlisted in the United States Air Force.  He was assigned to the 823rd Red Horse Squadron at Hurlburt Field for 17 years.  During his time with Red Horse, Tony went on numerous deployments.  After being stationed at Hurlburt Field, he was PCS’d to Little Rock AFB, AR where he retired.  After retirement, Tony returned home to Fort Walton Beach. 

The light of his life was his daughter Haylee.  Tony never met a stranger; he was always able to make people laugh and made friends everywhere he went.  He truly enjoyed life to its fullest and will be missed by many people.  Tony had a great sense of humor.  He had several hobbies including RC airplanes, boats, and drones.  He also loved Asian food!  The spicier the better!!!

Tony is survived by his wife, Brenna Lorraine Morris (Fort Walton Beach); Daughter, Haylee Ann Mauldin (Fort Walton Beach); Parents, Henry Hoyt Mauldin Jr. and step mother, Phyllis Mauldin (Lavonia, GA) and Jane Ann Lowery (Fort Walton Beach); Brothers, Henry Hoyt Mauldin III and wife Victoria and niece Amelia (Savannah, GA) and Nicholas Guy Mauldin and wife Amy and nieces Jamie and Makayla (Defuniak Springs, FL.,  and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. with full military honors at the VFW Post 7674 located at 213 Carol Avenue (across from Home Depot.)
