Michael Joseph Thurber

Michael "Mike" Joseph Thurber passed away suddenly from natural causes on Saturday, February 2, 2019 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida at the age of 63 Years.  

Mike is survived by his 3 sons, Michael Jr., Jacob, Joshua and his step-daughter, June. Also his brother Gary and his 4 sisters, JoAnn, Linda, Sarah, and Leah.  He will be missed by many other friends family as well.  Mike was an extremely talented artist and musician. He had a love for hot rods and motorcycles, (especially Harley Davidson’s). He and his brother, Gary had worked on custom projects together over many years and Mike loved showing what they built.  He had a personality you couldn’t forget. He spent a lot of time on the road driving trucks and he would often times touch base with family and whenever possible, he would and stop in to say hello. He loved sharing his stories and pictures of life on the road with his kids and grandkids.  His life was much to celebrate; his love, his laugh and his big heart will always be remembered. We love and you miss you Dad.

For all who knew Mike Thurber and would like to attend his Memorial Service on Sunday March 10, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the WaterVue at Brooks Street, 203 Brooks St SE, Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  We will have live music, food and a time for family and friends to celebrate and share about Mike's life.
