Mitcheline Patterson

Mitcheline Mary Patterson (Mickey) age 99, passed away April 12, 2021 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She was born in Clanton, Alabama on June 14, 1921 to Augusta Eugene Mims and Alice Owens Mims. Mickey was a member of Wright Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She loved spending her time with family and friends. She was known for always having the best yard in the neighborhood, where she spent most her of time. She retired from the Vo-Tech where she worked in the food lab. Mickey also was known for doing demos at Publix for many years after her retirement. She will be forever remembered by her family and friends as a person willing to help do anything for others. Mickey had a unique ability to see the best of every situation and put a smile on your face with some of her adventurous stories.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Alice Mims, husband; Mondral Patterson (Pat), brothers; Ray Mims, Ross Mims, Doug Mims, Donald Mims, sisters; Christine Thomas and Peggy Smith. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at Wright Baptist Church, Fort Walton Beach, Florida on April 29, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A graveside service will follow 12:30 pm at Beal Memorial Cemetery in Fort Walton Beach.
