Nancy Philpot Acha Baker

Nancy Philpot Acha Baker age 60 years ~ 1 month ~ 10 days,  formally of Fort Walton Beach, Florida left this world on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 to receive her heavenly reward and reunite with her loved ones. She was born on Friday, March 6, 1959 to Hobert and Shirley Philpot in Harlan County, Kentucky.

Our mother was a great cook and had a wonderful sense of humor. Nancy was a loving and devoted mother who supported her children in anything they chose to accomplish in life and with no complaints. No single word in the dictionary could do her justice. She touched the lives of anyone she came across. Nancy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her. No words could ever express the love and gratitude that we have for our mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hobert and Shirley Philpot; husband, Edgardo Acha, and brother, John Philpot.

She is survived by her four daughters, Dena Acha, Haley Baker, Katelyn Baker and Julie Baker; husband, Kent Baker; grandsons, Daz Frye, Dae’ton Frye and Drake Acha; brother, Len Philpot; sisters, Vera (Steve) Daugherty, Emily Ingram and Kitty (Jerry) Cinnamon; sister-in-law, Monica Philpot; nieces, Linny Blair, Erika Borrego, Tiffany Philpot, Meredith Daugherty, and Asher Philpot; nephews, Michael and Jonathan Ingram and Alden Philpot and numerous cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Jay Chapel located at 3853 Hwy 4, Jay, Florida 32565. A viewing will also be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 11:00am-12:00pm at McLaughlin Mortuary.  Funeral service will begin at 12:00pm with Rev. Buck Dockery officiating. Burial will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery in Fort Walton Beach.

Active pallbearers will be Daz Frye, Drake Acha, Michael Ingram, Jonathan Ingram, Daniel Osborn, Travis Allen and Colby Jandran.

The family would like to thank all friends and family for their prayers and support given to us and our mother during our time of need.
