Patricia "Pat" Grace (Herbert) Gold

Patricia Grace Gold, age 92, passed away Peacefully on Oct 8th 2019 at Covenant Hospice at West Florida Hospital. Pat was born, March 25th 1927 in Torrington CT to William (Bill) and Rose Herbert.  Survivors include son, Marc Skarupa, and grandsons, Cody (Cori) Skarupa and Jason Zabel from her first marriage to George Skarupa, who preceded her in death.  Pat was married to her second husband, Stanley Gold in 1988 who also preceded her in death and survivors include, Linda (Michael) Gold and Alan (Mimi) Gold and Grandchildren, Daniel and Bobby Gold.

Pat had a heart as big as the Sky. She loved to paint with oil on canvas and all the family has her artwork. Her legacy hangs on the walls of her family’s and friends’ homes. Pat loved her pet cat, Buzzy and enjoyed Kitty company her entire life. A Wonderful Mother and Grandmother, she taught us all the meaning of life through love and kindness. Always there when you needed it with a smile and sparkle in her eye, Pat could bring out your positive side and make you feel like the best person in the world. Her Spirit lives on and her Love will be with us forever.

A Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 at McLaughlin Mortuary at 17 Chestnut Ave S.E., Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548 on Wednesday, Oct 16th, 2019. Her celebration of life will follow at 2:00 PM
