Peggy Jean Beville

Peggy Jean Beville went home to Jesus on June 11, 2021 at the age of 85.
Peggy was born to Walter and Alma Beville on January 15, 1936 in Valdosta, Georgia.  She spent most of her life in Jacksonville, Florida having attended John Gorrie Junior High and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. Peggy attended her beloved Avondale United Methodist Church, and was an active member of the Faithful Friends Sunday School class. Peggy worked as a telephone operator and retired from Southern Bell on December 31, 1991 after nearly 36 years of service.  She was a member of the Communications Workers of America Union and an A T & T Pioneer with the TelcomPioneers voluntary network.  Peggy enjoyed her church life, music, traveling, gardening, and her dogs. She is survived by her brother Robert L. Beville, sister-in-law Patricia, two nieces Denise Pisani and Lisa Carter, two nephews Rory Beville and Glenn Beville, several great-nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Florida.  The Reverend Clare Chance of Avondale United Methodist Church will officiate.
