Regina L. Hayse

Regina Hayse was a vibrant, beautiful, and compassionate person. Her radiance shed light on the darkest moments and struggles of the ones she loved. She was/is unforgettable and would go to any length to make someone smile and laugh. She was a proud wife, mother, sister, and daughter to her family. Regina had the biggest heart and she had a beautiful gift of uplifting people, making everyone feel special, feel loved. We will forever think of her every time we see the many flavors of marshmallow Peeps, black licorice, diet mountain dew, and lip gloss (we know how much she loved her lip gloss!) We choose to focus on the celebration of her time here with us. Regina loved her Lord and Savior Jesus and today rests in His loving arms. God blessed this family with such a special woman in Regina and we welcome prayers for strength and comfort.

Everyone would agree that Regina was such a light, presence and energy in every room she ever walked into! She was like the sun… how do you replace a sun? Here are some of the memories we have of her in ways that  will ensure her light will never dim:

She was the Queen of movie quotes and song lyrics
She was impeccable at being a Whoville character, grapes being her only prop
She was a candy crush legend
Sleeveless sweaters and 80s wear were her go to fashion choices: not to mention her bling belts, dangling jewelry, chip clips and addiction to lip gloss. 
She was a night owl and wanted everyone around her to follow suit - her best jokes came around midnight when we were sitting on her porch outside
She loved her country and everything American flag related
She would never pass up a food challenge
Hot wings, Peeps, Good and Plenty’s, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and Van Halen were her daily indulgences
She’d do anything for a good laugh
Her family was her life- Jaime, Markie and Mark being her absolute pride and joy and what she lived for!
