Robert Nelson Moore

Robert Nelson Moore, of Shalimar, Florida passed away at HCA Hospital in Fort Walton Beach, FL, Feb 25, 2023, surrounded by his siblings.  Robert was born on January 25, 1957, in Laredo, Tx.  Robert was a kind, caring, sensitive, intelligent, and tenderhearted man.  He will be deeply missed. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maj. Gen. Joseph D. (Ret.) and Beverly B. Moore; paternal grandparents, Lt. Gen. Joseph H. (Ret.) and Virl L. Moore;  his maternal grandparents, J. Nelson, and Beverly K. Ball; and nephew, Thomas David Moore. 

He is survived by his brothers, David Moore of Shalimar, Fl., and Jeffrey Moore (Veronica) of Zachary, La.;  his sister, Elizabeth Moore-Malec (William Malec) of O’Fallon, Il;  his niece/nephews, Joseph Moore of Zachary, La; Jonathan Moore (Margaret) of Zachary, La; Kent Moore (Bridgett) of Myrtle Beach, Sc; Heather Moore-Malec of North Miami Beach, Fl; and his grand nieces/nephews, Landon Moore of O’Fallon, Il; Payton Moore and Levi Moore of Zachary, La; JT Moore and Emily Moore of Zachary, La; Jordan Ponds, Ryan Ponds, Kannon Moore, and Paityn Moore of Myrtle Beach, Sc.
