To our Lovely Rose:

We may have lost you but your spirit lives on long after you’re gone

From the instructions for life passed down from your wisdom and experience

To the demonstrations of love passed down from your heart

The geographical roots passed down from your hard work and dedication

The sense of belonging you gave every soul from your endless loving sensitivities

The sense of safety and care derived from your devotion

The nourishment and meals made with love from your kitchen

The contentment and peace that came from YOUR home

The lifelong cherished memories as a result of your endless efforts and planning

You, a single Rose, with the impact and beauty of an entire bouquet

Your book of life ended, but our love for you writes the sequels.
