Ruth S. Christensen, 82, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, died on January 29, 2018. She was born in Algona, Iowa in July of 1935 and was the first of eight children of Everyal and Doris Adams.  She was the beloved wife of Russell N. Christensen, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.  She is survived by her husband; her four children, Rodney, Rene Valenti (William), Robert, and Ryan (Jennifer); and her adored grandchildren.  She had a kind heart and was loved by everyone who met her. She was a loyal member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, loved sewing, and was an avid quilter.  She participated in several groups and donated her time and talents to many charitable organizations. 

Donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in lieu of flowers.
