Virginia “Tiny” P. Anderson, age 81, of Valparaiso, FL, passed away on May 20, 2019.  She was born on March 9, 1938 to Delma and Addie Mae Prisock. 

She was a remarkable woman who was far ahead of her time. She wore many hats; City Councilwoman, Mayor, Sheriff, mental health advocate, and a damn fine hair stylist for over 50 years; training with greats such as Vidal Sassoon and Jheri Redding. She was a world traveler and an explorer of knowledge. In her time she took down pieces of the Berlin Wall as well as walked the Great Wall of China. And above all, she was a beautiful mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, and friend. 

She is predeceased by her husband, Billy R. Anderson; her parents, Delma and Addie Mae Prisock; her brother, Thomas Prisock; and her son, Bobby Harvey. 

She is survived by her son, Dupree Harvey (Ruth Ann); her daughter, Jessica Queer (Jeffrey); her daughter in law, Debbie Harvey; and grandchildren, Spencer , Drayven, Kage, Wallace, Savannah, Zach, Josh, Will and James; her brother, Gene Prisock; her sisters, Juanita Beasley and Debi Palarca; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 22, 2019 at 2 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Emerald Coast in Valparaiso. Please do not wear black, bring a dish to share, and all the stories you can think of. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her name.
