Edward L. Millier age 84 of Fort Walton Beach, Fl. Passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014. He was born on December 20, 1929, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Albert E. and Lilly E Cotton Millier. He lived in Waterville, Maine almost 40 years before moving to Florida. He was a Christian and attended services at Delores Hope Chapel in Bob Hope Village. He honorably served his country in the US Navy. He had been a resident of the local area for eleven years living in Crestview and Fort Walton Beach, Fl. He enjoyed riding Motorcycles, was a golfing enthusiast, and enjoyed trips he had taken to Europe, Russia and Alaska. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and loving wife Marie (Toni) of 51 years marriage, and two brothers.
Survivors include his children; Edward (Kathy) Millier of Fort Walton Beach, Fl. Jeane Millier of Waterville, Maine, Stephen Millier of Fort Walton Beach, Karen Haiss of China Village, Maine, David Millier of Williston, North Dakota, Kathleen Millier of Washington D.C, and Robert Millier of Fort Walton Beach. Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, a sister Evelyn of Auburn, Maine.
The family will receive friends at a visitation on Fri. July 18, 2014, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 p.m. All services will be held at Delores Hope Chapel at (Bob Hope Villiage) Officiating at the service will be Chaplain Frank Dole.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Covenant Hospice in memory of the Millier family of which Marie (Toni) had been a patient in 2005.
