It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Jim Wilson on February 20, 2018 at the age of 47 years.  Jim was born in California on December 20, 1970.  In 1975 he moved to Shalimar, FL where he graduated from Choctawhatchee High School.  Jim loved music, playing the clarinet and saxophone.  He also enjoyed working on computers, wakeboarding and traveling with his dad and brother.  Jim is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Wilson and is survived by his mother, Barbara; sister, JoAnn and brother, David.  Services will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at McLaughlin Mortuary, 17 Chestnut Avenue S.E., Fort Walton Beach, FL.  Visitation for friends and family will begin at 1:00PM followed by funeral service at 2:00PM with Pastor Chuck Poplin officiating.  Burial will be at 3:00PM at Beal Memorial Cemetery, 316 NW Beal Pkwy, Fort Walton Beach, FL.  Expressions of love and sympathy may be viewed or submitted online at www.mclaughlinmortuary.com
