I knew Bob only in his later years, as a fellow amateur astronomer and fellow member of the Northwest Florida Astronomy Association. He was a wonderful man, and I loved him very much. Bob and I would share astronomy from his driveway, in front of his home in, Miramar Beach I believe.
He provided me with a lot of free equipment. That was very nice. I was amazed at the beautiful pictures he would post. He was an amazingly good astro-photographer. He taught me a lot of things about how to use my own astro photography processing software, Maxim DL. He was a Maxim expert and I also understand that he conferred with many other professionals in this field.
I was especially happy when he told me of his Christian conversion experience. From now on, whenever I look up at the stars, I will think of him and thank God for bringing me this great and wonderful man!!
