Marian L. Meads, age 89, of Fort Walton Beach, Fl. Passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 in a local Hospital. She was born on March 3, 1927 in Elizabeth City, N.C. to Henry H. and Lessie Meads. She honorably served her country in the United States Air Force as a Registered Nurse, working as a Nurse Anesthetist, Nursing Administrator, and as a Flight Nurse. She retired as a Colonel after 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister. Survivors include a niece Debbie Hughes and a Great Nephew Fred Hughes, and numerous cousins and a special trusted friend, Lois Climenhaga. No services are planned.
